Kids Program Detail: Emerson Souza kids martial arts classes in Baldwin, NY are a fun, exciting way to keep your children challenged & motivated like no other after school activity. On top of learning Jiu Jitsu for self defense, our kids classes will give your child the opportunity to make new friends, develop sharp problem solving skills that will last a lifetime. Little Ninja's Jiu-Jitsu (Ages 5-7): Using the Jiu-Jitsu discipline, we teach our Little Ninja's important character traits like respect, teamwork, and confidence, while also introducing them to physical skills and communication strategies. Young Samurai's Jiu-Jitsu (Ages 8+): Our Young Samurai's class will learn the necessary fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu while also learning the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle. Hard work is an important part of our classes but they do not go without praise. Building self confidence is just as important as learning self defense and as true martial artists, Emerson Souza Instructors strive to build not break down. Bullying is a very serious epidemic in schools and we take a serious stance in reinforcing the importance of combating this with all of our students.
