Kids Program Detail: The Renzo Gracie Pa Academy offers Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) for all ages from 5 through teens. Both boys and girls can benefit from learning BJJ. Developed from traditional Jiu-Jitsu by the Gracie family it is famous for its devastating ground techniques. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was specifically developed to allow a smaller person to defeat a larger person by application of leverage techniques. Gaining superior position on your opponent and applying a myriad of chokes, holds, locks and joint manipulations becomes the foundation of this martial art. The Renzo Gracie Pa Academy Instructors have been educated and taught in all areas of Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
