Details: Veneration BJJ was founded in 2008 by Professor Dave Rosenmarkle and Kelli Rossow. The affiliation started with Veneration Kenosha and has since grown to include Veneration affiliations around the United States. Veneration Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an IBJJF accredited academy with world-ranked instructors and students.

Kids Program Detail: HEALTHY HABITS: Jiu Jitsu provides a FUN and challenging activity to reduce stress while gaining exercise, increasing body awareness and coordination. Students also learn valuable lessons in humility, dealing with failure, goal setting and commitment. SELF-DEFENSE: Jiu Jitsu is a grappling martial art which utilizes leverage, technique, and strategy to overcome opponents which are often bigger and stronger. Learning martial arts builds confidence, which in turn discourages bullies. Not only will your child learn REAL skills they can use to defend themselves, but they are also less likely to be singled-out because of their new-found confidence. DISCIPLINE & FOCUS: In the age of technology and distractions, learning jiu jitsu engages students in the learning process as they listen, follow detailed directions, and put them into practice. This translates to increased focus and discipline in school, chores and other areas of life. LEADERSHIP & COMMUNITY: Students will socialize with new friends. As they progress, they will become mentors and leaders among their peers. They become part of a community by learning to give back.
