Details: We are a family-owned, Renton based martial arts school with both grappling and striking martial arts classes for kids, classes for teens and adults, of all levels of experience and all fitness levels! Kids Program Detail: Kids Muay Thai - age 9-13 (approximate) - Muay Thai, the national sport of Thailand, uses kicks, punches, knees and elbows. We teach every element of the sport to the kids, combining fitness, technique and application or sparring every class. Students learn defense for every attack, and apply these moves in sparring. The Muay Thai clinch is one of the best techniques for real life self defense situations. Competition builds character! Muay Thai is still a young, developing sport in Washington State. There are a few opportunities for competitions, and we encourage the students once their skills are ready! Kids Jiu Jitsu - age 5-8, age 9-12, age 13-17 - We have 3 different jiu jitsu classes for kids: Peewees (5-8yrs), Juniors (9-12yrs), and Teens class (13-17yrs). Kids Wrestling - age 6-9, age 10-13 - We do 3 seasons at Ruffhouse: January-March, July-September, and October-December. Fall is freestyle, Winter and spring are Folkstyle
