Kids Program Detail: Kids Martial Arts class is designed to promote confidence and self esteem while teaching students how to handle themselves in tough situations, all while having fun. Students will learn the basic positions, escapes, and submissions of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a safe and friendly environment. They will gain the confidence and skills needed to protect themselves from bullies and the knowledge needed to avoid potentially harmful situations. Students will learn how their own bodies can create enough leverage to ward off an opponent and escape. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an excellent way to promote an active and healthy lifestyle for kids of all ages. Students will learn that Commitment, Respect, Focus, Self-Discipline, and Effort always create a rewarding experience and bring forth positive results.

Woman Only Program Detail: Gracie Jiu Jitsu is the most valuble martial art for women in the fact that you do not have to be the biggest or stongest in order to use the techniques developed and designed by Helio Gracie. Gracie Jiu Jitsu empowers women, builds strength through adversities, and prepares them for real life-threatening situations. It does not differentiate between male and female, what matters is that you understand the techniques and positioning so you can execute them flawlessly. Our self defense techniques provide the knowledge and skills for any woman to escape an attacker, whether she is on her feet or on the ground. Striking and kicking do not offer an effective strategy against an assailant who is bigger, stronger, and more than capable of hitting back. In addition, they are useless on the ground, which is where a rapist/attacker is most likely to assault a woman.
