Kids Program Detail: In our Brazilian Jiu Jitsu martial arts program, children are brought through the basics of respect, how to focus, confidence building activities, and are also taught important motor skills involving balance and coordination. The children learn other essential skills as well, such as falling correctly, and basic tumbling. Throughout this kids martial arts based class, children learn to defend themselves from basic grabs and bullying situations that can be common in the early days of starting school and interactive activities. As the children grow in this martial arts program they enjoy fun activities and games that teach each child how to concentrate more effectively, treat others fairly and also become more coordinated and strong through various age appropriate physical drills, games and exercises. Children also learn the basic self defense skills of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu including how to defend yourself without punching or kicking. Your child will experience a leap forward that can help them immensely in the pre-kindergarten years, which will also help your child to enjoy an important leg up when entering elementary, middle school or high school in a few years from now.
