Details: You may know us by our original name, “The Bushido Jiu-jitsu Academy”. Our academy offers quality and professional training in Gracie Jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, Judo and Self-Defense. We are a certified affiliate under the Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Association. While the primary art of our academy is Gracie Jiu-jitsu, students are also exposed to and learn techniques from Judo, Wrestling, Boxing, Combatives, Kickboxing, Karate and Mixed Martial Arts. Our academy was formed in 1999 by Rob Magao and Jim Kodzis. Originally designed as a “martial arts club” for police officers and members of the armed forces, the club has evolved into a full service martial arts academy and fitness center offering world class training in a safe, fun and family oriented environment. We offer group and private classes for men, women, teens and children ages 5 and up. We have classes available 7 days a week. Morning, evening and private classes are available. We also host seminars with world class trainers throughout the year. Our academy is excellent for beginners or experienced martial artists alike.

Kids Program Detail: At Manchester BJJ we offer a very innovative martial arts curriculum for children ages 5-8 and youth ages 8-12. Regardless of age, we provide each student with essential training in character development, self-defense, fitness and teamwork, not to mention fun!
