The 6,000 square foot facility was opened by Danilo and Jess Cherman in October 2017 and specializes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. JitsuAcademyCT is currently owned and operated by Lead Instructor and Head Coach, Oswaldo Jurema (Black Belt).

Kids Program Detail: Our goal is to keep kids physically and socially active as they bond and have fun with new friends in a positive and nurturing environment. Enrolling your children in BJJ promotes self-respect and respect for others, self-discipline, increases your child’s level of self-confidence, and teaches problem solving techniques, all while giving them the ability to protect and defend themselves.
