Kids Program Detail: Our children’s program is centered around these core principles. Our top level instructors teach Jiu Jitsu in a way that children understand. Kids learn how to grapple for tournaments and for life. Our curriculum focuses on teaching our students how to protect themselves in a bad situation while teaching them respect for others. We do not advocate violence. Instead, we teach position control and escapes. In this class, students learn what to do if a bully approaches them. They learn how to neutralize the situation so that no one gets hurt. Students begin the basics of Jiu Jitsu. Our instructors teach the kids more than just positions, though. They teach our students to respect themselves and others. They teach confidence and build character. As children progress, we begin to focus more on position control and submissions. We continue to focus on our core goals. These students have the option to compete in Jiu Jitsu tournaments throughout the Tampa Bay area. Our coaches want to see your child succeed on the mats and off.
