Kids Program Detail: Three million children in the united states miss school every month because they are affraid of bullies. Our anti-bully jiu-jitsu program was created to give your child the tools to overcome bullies without the need for violence. TINY CHAMPIONS (3-5) using our time tersted “Jiu-Jitsu Games,” we teach our tiny students fundamental self defense techniques as well as the essential principles of control and leverage. The success of this program is due to fun aspect of the lessons which makes the students wanting more. Once the students have mastered all twelve jiu-jitsu games, they are ready to move up to our Little Champions Program. LITTLE CHAMPIONS (6-8) in this program, the focus is placed on 40 no-violent self-defense techniques. We teach our students how to neutralize and negociate with the agressors or the bullies. Students learn verbal assertiveness as well as physical assertiveness which translate in a noticeable increase in self esteem and confidence. JUNIOR CHAMPIONS (9-12) this program is designed to build a strong foundation in both self defense and competition jiu-jitsu. Students are taught all 40 positions and techniques of the self-defense curiculum and are introduced to the more complex competition jiu-jitsu concepts and ideas. COMPETITION CLASS for members of the clark gracie competition team only. In this class we focus on fast pace, competition scenarios and rules awarness. This program has produced many top level jiu-jitsu athletes including several kids world champions. PRIVATE LESSONS are available to all academy members & visitors and are a great way for more focused instruction. Students will have the opportunity for a more in-depth exploration of techniques and situation study in an exclusive learning environment. All private lessons have to be scheduled at least one week in advance by contacting the academy.
