In Brazilian Jiu-jitsu we fight for the position (“roll for control”) and wear our opponents down with Newtonian physics. Everything you need for effective self-defense is available to you here in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. We have the take-downs, the exercises for escape and the finishing holds you need to survive any encounter from the street to the tournament. Make your martial art trainable as a sport and the rest is cake. You’ll be a martial monster to those who don’t train in a matter of weeks (a bold boast? Perhaps, but training makes a difference that is DIRECTLY MEASURABLE).
