Details: Studio X is New York City’s original Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy. Opening its doors in 1995 under the leadership of Professor Fabio Clemente, a pioneer of BJJ on the East Coast and 3x Pan American Champion, Studio X offers classes 7 days a week, brought to you by a passionate team of IBJJF World Champions, active high-level competitors, and lifelong students of the game. Kids Program Detail: Our Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program builds self-confidence through self-defense and basic Jiu-Jitsu movements. At Studio X, we are experts in helping kids bring out the best in themselves by way of superior martial arts instruction, individualized attention, and a fun, structured, and disciplined environment. Parents of children in our program often notice their child’s improved social skills, increased focus and energy, and enhanced self-confidence. Classes consist of a group warmup, sport and self-defense techniques, resistance drills, games, and more. Open to children ages 6-13.
