The Soca BJJ Academy was founded by multiple time world champion and BJJ Legend Alexandre Soca Freitas, producing a fierce team of high level Jiu-Jitsu competitors in kids, juveniles, adults and masters divisions. In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, we pride ourselves on its accessibility to all who are interested in trying this gentle art. Here at Soca Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Glen Cove, we are bringing the core fundamental curriculum taught by Alexandre Soca Freitas, ideal for those who are new to this martial art.

Kids Program Detail: Mini Grapplers - This beginner class introduces kids 3 to 5 years old to the beautiful art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in a fun and safe environment. they learn the basic movements organically while learning discipline and team work. Little Grapplers 1 - This class is aimed for kids 4 to 6 years old. This class continues teaching the basics while adding more techniques according to the natural progression of each child. Little Grapplers 2 - This class is for children 6 to 10 years of age. At this stage, the children continue learning the beauty of Jiu Jitsu while emphasizing the development bof solid techniques. Junior Grapplers - This is the perfect class for students 10 to 14 years old. As they continue their Jiu Jitsu journey the teachers continue adding techniques in the curriculum to their arsenal. Moves and counters are drilled and woven into a more cohesive and strategic game, preparing them for competition if they so wish and to become more self confident in their everyday life.
