Details: At HJJ you will meet Black Belts, Coaches, & students from different lineages, styles, and teams. HJJ was formed with the vision of having different teaching styles and methods available for our students. In a world of Jiu-Jitsu that came from a very strict and team-only training environment, HJJ sought to be different from other local schools in our area in this matter.

Kids Program Detail: Not only are children getting physical activity, they're also getting mental activity. Martial Arts Classes teach kids valuable Life-Skills such as how to Feel Confident, Practice Discipline, and Show Respect. In our classes, we emphasize how important it is to show focus not only in the academy, but in school and at home as well. Through the repetition and memorization of techniques, they learn the mental discipline needed ignore distractions. It's important for every child to know how to properly defend themselves. We not only teach practical self-defense techniques, but how and when to apply them. This gives kids the knowledge and skills they need to carry themselves with confidence.
