Kids Program Detail: At High Ground, our youth program is a comprehensive and dynamic curriculum that will teach your child the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for self defense and sport applications. Starting at age 5, your kids can start learning valuable life skills in a safe and fun environment. Some of the life skills we focus on are conflict resolution, stranger danger, dealing with bullies, and self defense for many different situations. We stress the importance of mutual respect and courtesy towards teachers, parents, and peers at school, and at home as well as at our academy. Our goal is to work with you towards the positive development of your child. Your child will be a part of a strong and supportive Jiu-Jitsu family, a rich Jiu-Jitsu heritage, and a thriving global Jiu-Jitsu community. Most importantly they’ll be having fun, gaining confidence, as well as exercising their mind and body. Our well qualified instructors and coaches are thoroughly vetted and continually trained in our curriculum and teaching methods. Whatever your child’s goals, they can be attained here at High Ground Jiu-Jitsu.

It’s ideal for the beginner or intermediate student to grow and learn quickly under the guidance of our experienced and accomplished female instructors. Whether you are interested in self defense, fitness, or just a fun hobby, this class adjusts to meet everyone’s needs.
