Not only is Jiu-Jitsu good for self defense, but it has many physical benefits as well such as flexibility and weight loss. Checkmat Myrtle Beach is a proud affiliate of Checkmat, one of the largest Jiu-Jitsu families in the world.

Kids Program Detail: We offer kids and adult classes for beginner, and advanced students. Kids can start as early as 5 years old. We train in both Gi and NoGi BJJ throughout the week. Classes are great for self defense, sport, confidence building, self-esteem, bully proofing, and overall physical wellness. Whether you have trained for years, or have no experience at all, come give us a try!
