Details: We currently offer classes in Taekwondo and Jiu-Jitsu four days a week with various levels of instruction for both youth and adults. Jiu-Jitsu, in Japanese, means "gentle art." Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and combat sport that teaches a smaller person how to defend themselves against a larger adversary by the use of leverage and proper technique. Derived from judo, incorporating grappling and wrestling, it is beneficial for both self-defense and a means of physical fitness. Vigilance Martial Arts is a Profectus Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Affiliate

Kids Program Detail: TKD and BJJ for Youth Classes - Goals: To build a strong foundation. Our Jrs. classes range from ages 7-14 and are carefully designed with kids in mind. We strive to introduce Life Skills that will assist kids at becoming Black Belts at Life. Students learn movement drills, positions, and techniques that will build confidence and perseverance to tackle whatever life may bring.
