Kids Program Detail: Cubs Class - A fun start-up for our littlest of fighters. Here kids from ages 5-8 will learn all about keeping themselves safe in a fight, as well as how to gently render an attacker helpless. Focus is the goal of this class. Simplicity is the key for these little ones to stay on track. Wolf Pack Jiu Jitsu - This class is challenging and fun. Children ages 8-13 will be pushed to their comfortable limits while maintaining a level of playfulness that won’t scare timid kids away. The main focus of the Wolf Pack is to build comradery and confidence in a safe setting. Students will learn how to dismantle attackers as well as how to avoid dangerous situations before they happen. Chokes and joint-locks are serious responsibilities to the children of this class. Wolves are not just dangerous, they are kind. The Pride Competition Class - Here we do not play as many games as in the Pack. Hard drilling, advanced moves, and working on details will help prep these students for tough competition. Sparring is more intense in The Pride and matches will be often held in a tournament style. Though the pressure on kids will be dialed up, we never push a student farther than their limit. This class is made up of Renzo Gracie Utah’s finest. State and National Champions will be in daily attendance. As a result, eligibility for this class must be earned. The Pride is invite only. The Jungle - A fun way to relax on Saturdays. Students of all three kids classes will come together to briefly review what they learned throughout week and play games to bring the team together. Sparring will be more relaxed on Saturdays. The jungle is a fun way to reward our kids for working hard all week.
