Details: Shark Pit Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was started in a garage by a group of friends who wanted to train under the skill, experience and knowledge of local 3rd Degree BJJ Black Belt Joe Bauserman. Within a few months there were 35 members actively training under coach Joe on 300 square feet of cobbled-together mat space in a residential garage that was boiling hot in late summer and sometimes 30 degrees on winter days. In spite of the hardship, new folks were showing up every week and it became clear that we were going to need a bigger facility to accommodate the interest in Joe's superior martial arts instruction.

Kids Program Detail: Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Kids' Classes include Gi and NoGi instruction with a focus on having fun and learning while building confidence and positive relationships with peers. Our curriculum routinely includes takedowns and self-defense applications in addition to Sport Jiu Jitsu techniques. If your child wants to compete, our coaches will be there to guide your family every step of the way, and be mat-side to coach during your child's matches.

Pricing: One Person Membership - $150 per Month; Two Person Membership - $250 per Month; Three or More Person Membership - $300 per Month; Kickboxing Only - $100 per Month; Women's Classes Only - $60 per Month; Punch Card for 10 Classes - $160; Drop In Fee - $20/Class
