Each individual on our team has a different goal, yet we all come together to achieve them. For the adults, we have a challenging and fun hobby that keeps you fit and gives you something to strive towards. For the kids, we have a program that teaches respect and reinforces confidence through hard work and rewarding results. Kids Program Detail: Our kids and teens program offers seven classes per week with a black belt instructor at each of these classes. This is the key difference in what our academy offers to all of our students! The kids’ team is highly competitive in the VA, MD and DC area. We encourage only those that are interested in competing to do so and they perform very well when their opportunities arise. Our team is strong and enjoys having fun on the mats as well as during our camps throughout the year!

Woman Only Program Detail: Women’s self-defense is something that we are huge advocates of! Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the most effective martial art when describing assaults or attacks specifically on smaller individuals. With one of the top female practitioners in the area, JLBJJ offers a comfortable environment to match the unprecedented approach to teaching these techniques.
