Details: In Japanese, it means “the way of yin yang,” representing balance, interconnection and mutual dependence. Here, it is a study in relation to an opponent. An opponent is necessary to prove a technique, in the form of success or failure. Try and learn from both without emotional attachment. For each student who walks through our doors, we will support and inspire you to achieve your personal best, working towards a Black Belt both on the mat and in life. As we train together, we also bring out the best in each other, building confidence and community.

Kids Program Detail: Literally translated, the "gentle art" has no punching or kicking. Instead, students learn how to gain advantage through strategic ground positions that provide leverage and eliminate size advantage. Achieving a dominant position on the ground is one of the hallmarks of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Position control and submissions are the basis of this program. Inyodo Jiu-Jitsu follows the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation Belt ranks and time tables outlined in each students curriculum paper. Requirements include Jiu-Jitsu techniques as well as attitude, focus and engagement.
