Details: Silverback Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy is instructed by Scott Roffers. Scott is an eight time IBJJF Masters World champion, five time IBJJF Masters Pan Am champion and two time IBJJF Europeans champion. He is currently a brown belt under 2nd degree black belt Scott Huston at 360-BJJ.

Kids Program Detail: Known as “The Gentle Art“, Jiu-Jitsu is great for all ages and body types. It is a martial art that relies on leverage and angles, instead of size and muscle. No kicking or punching is involved as it is a grappling art. It is great for kids for many reasons, some of which are health, fitness, confidence, self-defense, discipline, stress relief and self awareness. There is no better way for a child to learn self-defense and release energy in a clean, safe environment than training here. They will learn the value of respect, attitude, and hard work while they have a great time! Dedication and determination are rewarded often with stripes and belt promotions.
