Details: Western Plains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is one of the largest and the longest-established Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) training academies in Gillette and Northeast Wyoming. Our mission is to bring all walks of life together in an environment where they can gain self-confidence, learn self-defense skills, and achieve mental and physical health. We do this with an outstanding staff in a state-of-the-art training facility. We began in 2014 with a small handful of students and have consistently grown each year. We are a Gracie-style Jiu Jitsu school teaching both self-defense and sport Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, with a direct lineage to Grandmaster Helio Gracie. With this lineage we have access not only to our local instructors, but also a deep stable of additional instructors from all areas of the U.S. who frequent our school for additional perspectives and training.

Kids Program Detail: Pee Wee - At Western Plains Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, we help our kids learn the skills of confidence and resilience to grow into successful adults. Character is built by teaching a culture of respect, discipline, and responsibility. This builds bully-proof boys and girls. Teen - Teenagers are growing up in a very different world than their parents did. Our Teenage Turtles program builds self-confidence while teaching important lessons in discipline, and respect for peers and instructors. They are also challenged to become the best version of themselves through increased focus, movement, and coordination.
