Kids Program Detail: From 4 years old and up, children at Gracie Barra Flatirons can take advantage of classes filled with self-defense skills to become the best that they can be, mentally and physically. The Gracie Barra Kids & Teens Program - GBK was created to provide children with an environment that allows them to experience and understand core values around focus, discipline, persistence, cooperation, and respect – all through the principles of BJJ teachings. To excel in any endeavor, individuals need to have a strong set of values and a solid character that allows for perseverance and goal attainment. As a contact sport, Gracie Barra Flatirons’ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu provides a very challenging yet safe and caring environment for a child to mature into a real-life champion. The outcome of the continued childhood practice of GB BJJ goes far beyond the accomplishments on the mats. The discipline and excellence our instructors demand often carry over to the child’s behavior at home and school. Currently, to ensure the best and most adequate instruction to our students, we are offering the following class: Little Champions 1 (4 to 6 years old), Little Champions 2 (7 to 9 years old), Juniors & Teens (10 to 15 years old).
