It was an idea to create a unique Jiu-Jitsu culture that would promote the martial arts life style, instill critical core values in others, and share our passion with the Seattle community. We set out to create a unique space that is safe, clean, and fun for all types of individuals and skill sets. Whether you are training for fun, fitness, or competition we have something for you. Seattle Jiu-Jitsu Academy is proudly run by Professor David Stegman who has over 32 years experience training martial arts and the last 23 years focused on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. David’s passion for martial arts and Jiu-Jitsu shine through in his teaching and ability to inspire those around him. David has been teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the Seattle area for over 9 years and has coached high level competitors in the World Masters (gold medalists), PAN AM Champions (gold medalist), along with many other local Jiu-Jitsu competitions in the Pacific North West. We proudly offer multiple classes and programs from beginners to advanced classes, kids programs, competition training, private one-on-one classes, self-defense, and of course A LOT of open mat time to put your skills to the test! At Seattle Jiu-Jitsu Academy we believe the best way to get better at Jiu-Jitsu is to show up! So take advantage of our FREE trial class. You will get a chance to participate in class and start learning Jiu-Jitsu right away. No need to worry about gear or equipment, we will have a trial uniform and belt for you when you arrive. If at the end of your lesson, you find that Jiu-Jitsu is not what you thought, no worries. Seattle Jiu-Jitsu Academy is a no pressure environment and we consider ourselves lucky to have had you visit!
