Details: Welcome to Ramona Jiu-Jitsu and MMA Center, your local, family-owned Martial Arts Academy serving the Ramona, CA community since 2010. We are known as the founders of Jiu-Jitsu and MMA in Ramona, making us the official Ramona Jiu-Jitsu and MMA team. We pride ourselves on fostering a positive, family-friendly environment that promotes growth through sportsmanship and camaraderie. Our highly skilled instructors are passionate about sharing their extensive knowledge and experience to provide world-class training. With programs for both kids and adults, we offer something for everyone. Our expansive facility includes two mat rooms which gives the ability to support the Ramona Jiu-Jitsu team and Ramona MMA team as well as a complimentary fitness space for students and their parents. On Mat 1, we focus on Boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and MMA, while Mat 2 is home to our comprehensive Jiu-Jitsu program, whether Ramona American Jiu-Jitsu or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu style (which has all evolved to be the same as long as the academy is constantly innovating), self-defense, Gi, No-Gi, and wrestling. Wrestling is a vital component of our Jiu-Jitsu curriculum, enhancing strength, balance, and takedown techniques that give students an advantage in both competition and self-defense. We are proud to partner with Ramona High School’s head wrestling coaches, Tyler McKay and Caitlin Munoz - two of the best in the game. As key leaders in our community, Tyler and Caitlin are committed to shaping the next generation, building a feeder program that creates opportunities for our youth and sets them on the path to success. Our Mat 2 Room is also part of the R-Town Martial Arts Foundation, which provides training for our local heroes as well as assistance and free training to community members in need. A portion of the tuition from our programs helps support the foundation, allowing us to give back and make a lasting impact on those who could benefit most from martial arts training.
