He has trained in San Paulo, Brazil for over 20 years since he was a young teenager. Marcelo has been a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Instructor for many years there in his homeland and also specializes in grappling and self-defense training. His lineage of instruction received is only 5 degrees away from the legendary Gracie Family, which created the art as we know it today of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The Renzo Gracie Schools are one of the most recognized names in the business for their accomplishments and training.
