Details: Superhero Jiu Jitsu Academy is proud to be a 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu affiliate. 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu is a no-gi, MMA based style of jiu jitsu. Some of the hallmarks of the 10th Planet system are use of the “rubber guard”, the twister, and lockdown half guard. 10th Planet prides itself on being a progressive, innovative style of jiu jitsu bent on improving jiu jitsu for MMA. Eddie Bravo, who came to prominence after his first match against Royler Gracie in 2003, has been a very controversial person in the jiu jitsu community mostly for his moving away from wearing the traditional gi. With over 70 affiliates internationally, 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu has a very close knit group of supporters all over the world. At Superhero Jiu Jitsu Academy we strive to bring you an atmosphere that is free from macho egos and alpha mentality. Our aim is to create the best possible environment for you and your family to grow as martial artists, become stronger, more flexible, and enjoy a better life.

Kids Program Detail: Lil’ Zappers - Ages 2-5. Got a little one with energy to burn? Exercise to the speed of ZAP in this upbeat, electric class. Sample everything from ribbon dancing, relay-style exercise, balance-building movement, tug of war and more! Lil’ Superheroes - Ages 4-14. Our Lil Superheroes class is based on creating a safe, fun, and energetic atmosphere for your child to learn and grow into a disciplined athletic martial artist. A wide age range of 4-14 years old creates a great opportunity for older children to become more like teachers as they learn and grow themselves.

Woman Only Program Detail: Women's Circuit - These classes will focus on empowering women and improving health in a positive and accepting atmosphere.. With basic or no equipment we will mesh circuit training, basic weights, core strengthening, cardio, and stretching. Come prepared to sweat! Please note we have a kid’s area but no staff attendants.
