Details: Dan Covel has been training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since 2002. He also holds a Black Belt in Judo. On and off the mats, he is a genuinely nice guy with a solid sense of humor, approachable personality, and admirable work ethic. He is best known for his infamous “Black Magic” closed guard, which is highlighted by his previous and on going DVD releases under Digitsu. Continuing to triumph in the trenches, Dan is eager to teach and coach students in what he not only considers his passion, but his life’s work and is currently accepting students of any level or curiosity.
