Details: In 2003, having never previously been exposed to martial arts, Paul Hido searched the Youngstown area for anywhere he could learn effective self defense while remaining fit and active within the community. Eventually his search exposed him to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and he was hooked. After getting his two sons involved in the sport in 2004, the Hido family has never ceased in their training. Coming up through the Pedro Sauer Jiu-Jitsu Association, the Hido's found their passion for teaching "BJJ" after helping to establish an academy in Youngstown in 2005. Now, after relocating to the Cleveland area, they have established the North Coast Jiu-Jitsu Club. Founded on the idea that anyone can learn effective jiu-jitsu in a friendly and fun environment, the Club hopes to be your home for self-defense and fitness training!
