Details: The Gracie Barra Academy located in Beaver County Pennsylvania, was founded in April of 2018 and is the very first Gracie Barra Academy in the state of Pennsylvania. Gracie Barra Beaver County offers world-class level Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction for individuals, families, active military, veterans, and law enforcement officials of the counties of Beaver, Allegheny, Butler, Lawrence, and Washington. It is the Premier Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy in the Pittsburgh Area. Dr. Tim holds three academic degrees and is an ordained minister who served as a youth pastor for many years. He is an excellent communicator and teacher who has a unique ability to relate to children. Dr. Tim was trained under the Gracie Barra Curriculum created by Master Carlos Gracie Jr. and is a Certified Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Instructor. His lineage is very closely connected to the Gracie family tree. Dr. Tim is ranked under Professor Christopher Mango, who is ranked under Professor Vinicius Magalhães (Draculino), who is ranked under Master Carlos Gracie Jr., who is ranked under Master Carlos Gracie. Dr. Tim’s goal is training everyone with or without a martial arts background and making them feel part of the Gracie Barra Beaver County Family.
