Details: Professor Marcelo always had a vision of opening a school that would offer the jiu jitsu lifestyle to the adults and children in the area. This vision has become a reality at Marcelo Mattos BJJ. Through Professor Marcelos leadership, the school offers a children's program that focuses on discipline, respect, determination and fun. The adult and teen Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program is opened to beginners that have never trained in the "gentle art" as well as experienced students. Professor Marcelo is a certified kickboxing instructor and offers classes in that discipline as well. Professor Marcelo also believes in helping in the community, giving self defense seminars to local police departments as well as the military.
