Details: Reality Martial arts was founded by Chuck Glass. Chuck is a 4th degree Black belt in Shotokan Karate and a 1st degree Black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Chuck began his training in martial arts in 1979 under Master Patrick Byrnes of Bushi Karate in Lansdale Pa. Chuck obtained his Shotokan Black belt in 1985 and was an active member of Bushi’s completion team, he also competed for several years in National tournaments and was part of the USA Karate team. He began his training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu in 2000 at the Renzo Gracie jiu-jitsu Academy in Hatfield, Pennsylvania. In 2008 Chuck opened the doors of RMA and became part of Balance Studios of Philadelphia under the expert tutelage of professors Phil and Ricardo Migliarese. Chuck is the head instructor at RMA and still trains daily with his students and still competes yearly in jiu-jitsu tournaments.
