Details: Bushin Martial Arts Academy is a family owned and operated martial arts dojo (training hall) that offers instruction and courses in authentic, Self-Defense-Based Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. We have been serving the greater Williamsburg area since 2008. We currently offer Fundamental, Intermediate, and Advanced classes for Adults, Women’s Self-Defense classes, and Childrens classes (ages 5-13). No prior martial arts experience necessary. At Bushin, we feel that being a well-rounded martial artist cannot be accomplished by learning technique alone, thus we incorporate the principles and values of traditional martial arts training into our curriculum. We welcome new members via direct. referrals & recommendations from current Bushin members, families, and friends. We are a proud affiliate of the Pedro Sauer Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association and of Team Curran Jiu-Jitsu.
