Details: We are Kansas City’s first green gym. Our eco-friendly facility is completely solar-powered!. We are housed in a historic 100 year old building that started out as the South Side Bank of Kansas City back in 1918. Now this repurposed building is our gym, but there’s still a really cool vault! (We keep dumbells in there instead of money though.) Bodyfit offers Weightlifting, Olympic Lifting and Metabolic Conditioning on the ground floor looking out onto main street, and even more cool programs like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kickboxing, Yoga, and HIIT up on our top floor. We have a fully packed schedule with group sessions all the way from before the sun comes up, ‘til late in the evening, and weekends. We’re proud to have a team of expert instructors who are each dedicated to educating themselves on the most current science behind each practice that is available at Bodyfit, and passing all their knowledge to our members, also known as the Bodyfit Fam. Details: Wildfire Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was opened May 6, 2016 by owner and head instructor Wyatt Tinnen (with a LOT of help) with the mission statement "Building Better Belts". The idea was to provide an environment where students and instructors alike could advance their training in the martial arts whether they wanted to be a competitor, be prepared for a real life self defense scenario, or simply be better than when they walked through the door. In June of 2016 Wildfire BJJ joined the Team Rhino Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Association under Professor Keith Owen. Since then, Professor Owen has awarded 9 Blue Belts, 3 Purple Belts, and 1 Brown Belt to the hard working and dedicated students at Wildfire. Wildfire Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu currently operates at 1410 NW Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO in a 1950 sq/ft climate controlled facility with parking, restroom, and shower facilities available on site and is a fully insured and licensed martial arts facility and Kansas City Local Business.
