Hurricane Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art, combat sport, and a self defense system that focuses on takedowns, grappling and especially ground fighting. It is a non-violent method of self defense that uses leverage, holds and locks to neutralize a larger opponent. Open to all ages, Hurricane BJJ is located in Cathedral City. Lead by black belt, Professor Josh Dubinsky, classes promote non-violent methods of self-defense, self-confidence, and an intese workout in a safe and energetic atmosphere. Women are especially trained how to sense danger and defend themselves against potential attackers.
