Robert and Kellie are the co-owners and founders of Checkmat Lynchburg in Lynchburg, Virginia. Checkmat Lynchburg opened in October 2017 and is an affiliate of the world renowned international Checkmat team. Checkmat Lynchburg is the first Checkmat affiliate in VA and is also known as Checkmat Virginia. Rob and Kellie have been training Jiu Jitsu – and to a lesser extent Judo, Wrestling, and MMA-– for a combined total of 30 years.
